Mining Controls Inc. would like to address the question about 
( Properly Packed Gland and a Properly Installed Gland Plug ).

Please take the time to read what the Code of Federal Regulations ( CFR 30 Parts18.37 Lead entrances. page 103 ) has to say.
Also a clip from Mining Controls Inc. Gland Approval drawing ( C-26555 ) and clips of Gland and Plug Instructions Sheets that are sent with each assembly.

NOTE: NO PLACE IN THE CFR 30 PART 18.37 DOES IT REFER TO THE HOSE TUBE TURNING AS A WAY TO TELL IF A GLAND IS PROPERLY INSTALLED.

Please note: The blank grommets supplied with the plug kit is only used to help make the gland opening water tight.
It is not a requirement for the grommets to be used.
